Amphan Cyclone Relief (2020)

This relief work was undertaken in the aftermath of the Amphn Cyclone in 2020 which left West Bengal in general and Sunderban in particular completely devatated renedering so many people homeless and without basic amenities.

Our modus operandi in this case was we tied up with 5 NGOs who organised the relief work on our behalf based on the fund we generated from valuable and whole hearted contributions from our batchmates. We could carry out the relief work across 6 most affected villages in Sunderban. The most heartening aspect was one of the relief work was carried out through one of our friends Jayanta Sen in his village through the local NGO.
